Look at this mess, pieces of me strewn across the floor.
Nothing left in this dim light,
But a shadow of the girl who threw the fight.
I’ve got a mountain in my room.
It’s not made of earth and stone,
But of all the things I’ve thrown under the rug
…..cause I’m so numb.
Riding the wave of apathy, far from done
Crazy free, and burning numb
I can’t feel so I just run
Crazy free and burning numb
I saw you out the other day,
What was once a minor tragedy turned out to be ok.
I don’t have it in me to fee l anything anymore,
One of the benefits of being more…..
Crazy free and burning…..
I’m sinking deep,
So what do we do now?
I tried to surrender but can’t figure out who’s war this has become.
I feel so powerless,
Where’s the beauty in this breakdown?
Cause you were never there for me,
So I have become so numb.
(Riding the wave of apathy, far from done
Crazy free, and burning numb)
